A new animated comedy series is coming to CMT called Bounty Hunters, which is being executive produced and voiced by Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy and Bill Engvall. Comedian Lisa Lampanelli will also be a series regular, and Blake Shelton, Kellie Pickler and Kix Brooks have already provided guest voiceovers as some of the peculiar bounties that Jeff, Larry and Bill's characters will be trying to round up during the 13-episode series. Bounty Hunters will premiere on CMT on Saturday, July 13th.

Kenny Chesney gives fans an inside look into his life at home and on the road in the new special, Kenny Chesney Presents: No Shoes Nation, premiering TONIGHT, June 19th at 10 p.m. ET on GAC.

John Rich is helping with fundraising for a new mental health care facility that is being built at Fort Campbell. Intrepid Spirit 3, will provide services to military personnel who are suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury or other brain-related aftereffects from their service. Rich tells Nashville's Tennessean, it's vital to address a gap in the system that doesn't meet the mental health needs of returning veterans.

The competition on NBC's The Voice is down to the final three contestants, two of which – The Swon Brothers and Danielle Bradbury – are members of Team Blake. They're both country artists and it's the closest Blake has ever come to winning the competition with a country artist, which has always been a dream of his. The Voice Finale will reveal the winner of Season 4 tonight at 7:00pm CT on KY3.

Little Big Town and Trisha Yearwood won Daytime Emmys Sunday night. Trisha's Food Network show, Trisha's Southern Kitchen, tied for the Outstanding Culinary Program trophy with another show on that network, The Best Thing I Ever Made. Little Big Town took the Outstanding Original Song category for their song, "Good Afternoon," the theme from ABC's Good Afternoon America.

Kellie Pickler will co-host and perform on ABC Television's The View this morning, June 18th. Kelly will talk about her own hot topics alongside Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sherri Shepherd and Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Pickler will perform her new single, "Someone Somewhere Tonight," for the first time on television. The song will be featured on her upcoming new album, which will be released later this year. ABC's 'The View' airs weekdays AT 10:00 am CT on KSPR.

Gary Allan will be featured in Backstory: Gary Allan on GAC, Sunday, July 14, 9p.m. CT. The special will give long-time fans a glimpse into the story behind the career of the elusive performer, including never-before seen photos of Allan and interviews with his trusted team members who have helped to guide him every step of the way.

Darius Rucker will appear on 'The Bachelorette' tonight on KSPR. Luke Bryan, Gloriana, and Sarah Darling have all appeared on "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" dates in the past. The Bachelorette airs Monday's at 8:00pm CT on KSPR.

Billy Ray Cyrus and his wife Tish are calling it quits. This isn't the first time. Three years ago the singer filed then changed his mind. According to People, Tish is requesting full custody of their 14 year-old daughter Noah as well as spousal support.

Ray Price has been in and out of the hospital over the past several weeks. Last month, Price, who is 87, received treatment for dehydration, which resulted in kidney stones and intense, incredible pain. All of Price's concerts scheduled for June have been canceled, with hopes of rescheduling in the future.

Toby Keith's Oklahoma Twister Relief Concert is set for Saturday, July 6th in Norman, OK. Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson, Trisha Yearwood and Ronnie Dunn are on the bill, and more stars are expected to be added. Garth and Trisha offered to help with the benefit on the same day the tornado hit. Proceeds will help victims of last month's deadly tornado in Toby's hometown of Moore, OK, via the United Way of Central Oklahoma May Tornadoes Relief Fund. Little Big Town is a nominee for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Song –"GOOD AFTERNOON" for Good Afternoon America on ABC. The 40th annual Daytime Emmy awards will be held this Sunday, June 16th in Beverly Hills, Calif., and televised for the second year on the cable network HLN.

Zac Brown's is in the process of creating a line of food products that will be modeled after the Paul Newman brand, Newman's Own, which donates all of its proceeds to charity. Zac's proceeds will go to his Camp Southern Ground for disabled kids.
Zac's also still working on opening a restaurant in Nashville and right now he's looking for the perfect spot.

Justin Moore has a new cd coming out. He will release OFF THE BEATEN PATH on September 17th.

Darius Rucker will appear on the next episode on 'The Bachelorette'. During the episode, in Atlantic City, 11 of the men discover they'll compete for the first-ever coveted title of "The Bachelorette's Mr. America." Desiree and one bachelor also visit the area devastated by Hurricane Sandy and meet a couple who were victims of the storm. What Desiree and her date decide to do brings the couple to tears. Darius Rucker plays a part in the heart-wrenching surprise. The Bachelorette airs Monday's a 8:00pm CT on KSPR.

Kelly Clarkson's new country single "Tie It Up" is all about tying up one specific thing: the knot, as in weddings. And Kelly is looking to you for inspiration when it comes to creating the song's lyric video. Kelly will have her own wedding photos later this year, when she ties the knot with her fiance, Reba McIntyre's stepson Brandon Blackstock. Rumors are it will take place October 20 in Nashville, Tennessee, but that hasn't been confirmed. Blake Shelton is not only going to perform at the event, but he'll also be officiating.

Kenny Chesney is giving fans an inside look into his life at home and on the road in the new special, Kenny Chesney Presents: No Shoes Nation, premiering next Wednesday, June 19th at 9 p.m. CT on GAC. Right now, Kenny is in Indianapolis, Indiana getting ready for a his next tour stop tomorrow night.

Gary Allan inadvertently let it out that he and Sheryl Crow will be teaming up for a tour this fall. While the details are still being worked out and an official announcement will be forthcoming.

And Darius Rucker is giving you an inside view into his songwriting process in a new one-hour special premiering June 20 on GAC. "Song tellers with Darius Rucker: The Story of True Believers" will feature the country star on stage with his pals who co-wrote his latest album, True Believers, with him. Writing with other people was a foreign concept to Darius back when he was the front man of Hootie & The Blowfish. He said that he wrote by himself and that he used to think he had to be inspired to write something, but he learned in Nashville that you can write whenever you want. The special was filmed at Nashville's Belcourt Theatre and airs on GAC Thursday, June 20th at 9 p.m. CT.

Some new music is on it's way from Billy Currington. He will release his new album, We Are Tonight, on September 17th. And speaking of new cds, the country compilation cd "Now That's What I Call Country Vol. 6" hits stores TODAY and it's an awesome lineup on that one.


Kid Rock always tries to make sure his concerts are affordable for fans and he has scalpers trying to get in on his plan to beat scalpers. Kid Rock is offering $20 tickets to his shows this summer and he's held back the first two rows so he can relocate fans from the back to the front. Kid says scalpers have offered him thousands if he'll throw a few of those tickets their way but he says he's trying to make a statement on ticket prices and he wouldn't jeopardize that just for quick cash. Way to go Kid Rock!


And listen…I'm not SAYING Craig Morgan is Superman….I'm just saying you've never seen him and Superman together in the same room. Think about it. Besides making great music and constantly touring for the USO…of yeah, and doing nearly constant charity work, Craig is a trained EMT. His bus ran across an accident on I-40 in Humphreys County on his way home from a show in Texas on Sunday and he and two of his crew members hopped off the bus and ran to the scene to help. Morgan helped extinguish a small fire with emergency responders and checked on the condition of the drivers. There were only minor injuries. Morgan, in February 2011, saved two young children from a burning house. See? Superman…just sayin…

just keeps getting cooler and cooler…at least in my book. He has teamed up with something called to help provide personal music players to patients suffering from Alzheimer's disease. According to testimonials on the Music and Memory website, Alzheimer's patients who listen to their favorite music have shown improved mood and increased socialization. My mother's quote/unquote "Boyfriend" Jake Owen…she calls him her little cutie…it's a little weird…is closing out his Barefoot Blue Jean Night album with his latest Top 5 single, "Anywhere with You," and…good news…he plans to have brand-new music on the radio soon. He has recorded the bulk of his next album, which he hopes to put out in December. Jake says one of the new tracks, "Beachin'," is a sister song to one of my all time favorites, "Barefoot Blue Jean Night." And finally, Tim McGraw is releasing live tracks recorded on his Two Lanes of Freedom tour all summer long. The live tracks will be released Tomorrow, June 7, June 21, July 12 and July 26 at TimMcGraw.com as part of the McGraw Overdrive Series Live project. All of the featured songs will come from Tim's latest album, also titled Two Lanes of Freedom. Could one of the live tracks come from his performance in Lampe on June 23rd??? Eric Church, Luke Bryan and Miranda Lambert all have four nominations to lead the field for the 2013 CMT Music Awards.Artists coming in with three nominations include: Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts and first-time nominees Florida Georgia Line; artists with two nominations include: Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Hunter Hayes, Jana Kramer, rock legend Journey, Kacey Musgraves, Little Big Town, Taylor Swift and Tim McGraw. The 2013 CMT Music Awards marks the 12th anniversary TONIGHT at 8:00 p.m., ET/PT on CMT and CMT.com.



Trace Adkins is returning to movie screens. Trace's acting credits include supporting roles in "The Lincoln Lawyer" and "Wyatt Earp's Revenge," has been filming a western called "The Virginian." A release date for "The Virginian" has yet to be announced.



A U.S. postage stamp honoring Johnny Cash will be unveiled at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on Today. Cash's stamp went through an arduous selection process to be issued. Johnny Cash died of complications from diabetes in September 2003. He was 71

Thompson Square's Shawna and Keifer, have co-writen a novel partly based on the love story told in their Grammy-nominated tune "Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not?" "Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not" will center around two teenagers paired together to write songs for their high school musical. Though their personalities are quite different, they begin dating and do so on and off throughout college, before eventually breaking up. But after they go their separate ways, two of their songs become hits and the co-writers follow a rocky, but romantic path back to one another. "Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not" is due in bookstores TODAY.


Cassadee Pope, winner of season three of "The Voice," will return to NBC hit musical competition series TONIGHT with a live performance of her first single, "Wasting All These Tears." Pope, who will release her first Country album later this year, was a member of Blake Shelton's team and covered such artists as Keith Urban, Faith Hill and Miranda Lambert on her way to the title. It was Pope's version of Lambert's hit "Over You" that helped catapult her to the No. 1 spot on the iTunes all-genre chart. Pope is touring with Rascal Flatts on the LIVE & LOUD TOUR this summer


Rodney Atkins will host the Music City Gives Back benefit concert that will take over lower Broadway and feature performances by Justin Moore, Jana Kramer, and Josh Thompson. The third annual event will be raising funds and accepting donations of duct tape, work gloves, flashlights and other materials to aid in the relief of Oklahoma's recent devastating tornado.

June 3rd Headlines


The NBC televised benefit concert "Healing in the Heartland: Relief Benefit Concert" hosted by Blake Shelton last Wednesday raised more than $6 million in pledges and ticket sales to help people in Oklahoma trying to recover after a deadly tornado. Besides Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Vince Gill, Reba McEntire, Rascal Flatts, Usher, Darius Rucker and Luke Bryan all performed. The money goes directly to the United Way of Central Oklahoma. It will distribute funding to agencies helping those affected by the May 20 tornado.


Toby Keith is planning a benefit concert for the victims of the May 20th tornado in his hometown of Moore, Oklahoma. Ronnie Dunn will be a part of the show as he tells Tulsa World Toby is heading up the plans, and Garth Brooks is said to be on the bill as well. The benefit concert will reportedly take place in Norman, OK around the 4th of July. More details are expected soon.


Scotty McCreery is set to perform his current single, "See You Tonight" on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno Tonight at 10:35c on KY3. "See You Tonight" is the lead single off of his forthcoming sophomore album. McCreery has also been announced as a presenter on the upcoming 2013 CMT MUSIC AWARDS, which airs LIVE this Wednesday at 7:00 p.m., CT on CMT and CMT.com.
