Carrie Underwood led the field with five CMT Music Awards nominations, announced yesterday.
Other top nominees include Miranda Lambert who has four nominations: two as a solo artist and two with her all-girl trio Pistol Annies. Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton, Taylor Swift, The Civil Wars, and Thompson Square have three nominations.
The awards show is fan voted at www.CMT.com. Votes can also be cast through June 4 via mobile devices at CMT Mobile or the CMT Insider app available on iPhone, iPad and Android. The five finalists for the show's top prize Video of the Year will be revealed at the beginning of the CMT Music Awards and fans can then vote over the course of the show to determine the winner.
