Luke Bryan Fears Include Rotting Teeth and Going Back To School
Luke Bryan says all he can think about off stage is being on stage and making music. When he does finally settle down for some sleep it seems some fears come out in his dreams. Luke tells us he has fearful dreams of his teeth being rotten and falling out and that he did not graduate from high school and that he has to attend again, fearing wedgies from class mates. Luke has calmed some of anxiety, concerning success, with his latest album ‘Crash My Party’ as it continues to sell well and has produced four #1 singles with ‘Play It Again’ reaching the top of the singles chart this week.

“Good Morning America” and its 2014 “Fun in the Sun” Summer Concert Series lineup kicks off this morning, May 23rd with Lady Antebellum, live in concert in Central Park.
Scotty McCreery and several friends were held up by gunmen at an apartment in Raleigh, N.C. yesterday morning. Scotty, a student at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, was visiting with friends in a Raleigh apartment when three men broke in, holding up McCreery and four others, according to WRAL-TV. Police say the break-in happened just before 2AM when the men forced their way inside the apartment. Scotty and his friends were not hurt, but did lose their wallets and cell phones.

Hunter Hayes will debut a sneak peek of his new video for “Invisible” this coming Wednesday, March 12th, on Good Morning America. After the sneak peek, the video will premiere in its entirety across CMT, MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon and Palladia. The video brings together storylines of individuals of every age, gender and background as a reminder that no matter who you are, at some point we have all felt invisible. One of the scenarios in the video shows a child staring into an empty refrigerator in need of food. Hunter wanted to include child hunger in the video because ConAgra Foods has committed to donating the monetary equivalent of one meal, up to one million meals, to Feeding America for every download of Hunter’s song on iTunes.
Rascal Flatts will release their new album, Rewind, on May 13th, but for fans who just can’t wait that long for new music, they’ve released a new Rewind EP exclusively through Walmart.com featuring two new songs. The four-song EP retails for $5 and includes “Rewind,” “Why Wait,” “Come Wake Me Up” and “Dancing on My Grave.”
Keith Urban is hitting the road this summer and early fall on the Raise ‘em Up tour with tour mates Jerrod Niemann and Brett Eldredge. The tour will play a lot of outdoor festivals and venues after several gigs in Australia before wrapping-up in September. Eric Church to Perform on PBS’ Austin City Limits This Fall
Eric Church will perform for the upcoming 40th season of Austin City Limits. The new season will kick off on PBS this fall and Eric will tape his episode, featuring songs from his #1 album, The Outsiders, on September 23rd.
Brad Paisley, Chris Young, Toby Keith, Zac Brown Band, Sara Evans, Jerrod Niemann and Love and Theft are set to perform on a new country tribute album to The Doobie Brothers, coming out later this year. Miranda Lambert will have an exhibition at The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum called ‘Miranda Lambert: Backstage Access,’ which opens on May 16th and runs through November 9th. The exhibition will include gowns, stage costumes, awards and much more from the reigning and four-time CMA and ACM Female Vocalist of the Year. Comedic Country Music Parody singer, Tim Wilson died of an apparent heart attack last Wednesday at the age of 52. He was known nationwide, but especially among country crowds who appreciated the comedy of Larry the Cable Guy, Ron White and Jeff Foxworthy. Those who never saw Wilson’s standup may recognize him for his music. He released a few comedic singles to country radio, including ‘Garth Brooks Has Ruined My Life,’ ‘The Ballad of John Rocker’ and ‘The Jeff Gordon Song.’ Wilson’s first big break was an appearance on ‘The Tonight Show’ in 1990. He leaves behind a wife and two kids.
